Karnak temple is an open-air museum and  considered as the world largest religious building, it has a great Hypostyle hall about 54,000 square feet, the temple complex developed over more than 1,000 years, between the 12th and 20s Dynasties, it’s a very significant structure, the Complex consists of many temples, chapels, and other buildings in the form of a village, the temple was built between 2055 BC and 100 AD, built as a cult temple dedicated to the gods Amun, Mut, and khonsu.

The Temple was known as “most select of places” by ancient Egyptians, it’s located on the east side of the Nile River bank.

The Karnak temple is divided into 3 compounds ( the precinct of Amun, the precinct of Mut, and the precinct of Montu), the precinct of Amun is the largest one, it contains all the famous sections of the Karnak complex as the dizzying Great Hypostyle Hall which has 134 massive columns, The Temple had a sound and light show that is featured in different languages.
